How To Recover A Disabled Facebook Account?

Something scary happened to me a few weeks ago.

I was crying when my Facebook account has been disabled by Facebook.

I must say, they have very strong security algorithms which work more than enough to make Facebook scam-free. I was just trying to change my email address of facebook account.

Because the email address no longer I have access to that. I changed my email address, it requires phone verification. There were two phone number of mine is added on my facebook account.

I am using both on my phone. So, there was nothing to worry about. I was waiting for a confirmation code that should be sent from Facebook.

I got first code very late before receiving that, I already clicked on Resend Confirmation Code… Mistakenly, I deleted the first one code I received just after clicking on Resend Confirmation Code.

This was the mistake I did…

I didn’t receive any code after that… Waited a lot and tried again by clicking Resend Confirmation Code.

But no code sent to me…

I tried to contact them through their twitter handle…

Here is the exact message I sent them…

I was not lucky, It didn’t work for me… I didn’t get any reply even so far.

I was worried because of all the Facebook pages of my blogs and personal are created using the same Facebook account.

AND, even I used to log in through the same account on games I play like PUBG, Call Of Duty and some other apps too.

Here is the error screen I faced…

I had tried many times after waiting for some hours for each code.

BUT, I didn’t receive even a single code.

So, from the Facebook Point of view. I was using this feature in a way it wasn’t meant to be used. But I didn’t receive any code from them except the first one that was received late and deleted by me mistakenly.

That was the reason they disabled my account.

BUT the good part is, after a week I recovered my facebook account and now it is working.

So, I am showing the exact way I used to unlock my account which you can follow to unlock your Facebook account.

Is Your Facebook Account Really Blocked?

Before doing anything, you need to be sure that facebook really blocked or disabled your account.

Try to open your Facebook Profile URL, it should be like facebook.com/yourusername if you occupied any Username.

If you are seeing a page like this, then your Facebook account is disabled and no one can access it now.

AND, the simplest way to check whether your Facebook account is disabled or not. Simply ask one of your facebook friends to message you,  if your account is blocked or disabled, your friend will see an error while sending message to you.

Why Your Facebook Account Disabled?

You might violate any Facebook terms, this is might be the reason behind your facebook account disable.

Here are some Facebook terms:

• You might be posting content that doesn’t follow facebook terms and community guidelines
• Using a Fake name. It should not contain Symbols, numbers, unusual capitalization, repeating characters or punctuation. It should be your name that your friends and other people used to call you
• Impersonating someone
• Sharing inappropriate posts, images, videos like porn
• Continuing behaviour that’s not allowed on Facebook by violating their Community Standards
• Contacting other people for the purpose of harassment, advertising, promoting, or other conduct that’s not allowed

How To Recover Facebook Account?

When my Facebook account has been disabled. that time, I had no clue how to recover it back because It is very crucial for you. I can’t afford to lose it, so, I have tried almost all ways to recover it.

AND I succeeded, one method of them has worked for me and I got my account back.

I am showing all the methods I used and the one which worked for me.

Are You Still Logged It On Other Device?

Before doing anything for recovering your disabled Facebook account. You need to make sure whether you are logged in on any other of your device. Like, on your PC, iOS, or any other browser.

If you found yourself logged in on your Facebook account somewhere else then it will be easy for you to recover your account without needing 6-Digit Verification code.

But in my case, I have tried everywhere but I logged out from all devices and even from all browsers.

Try Using Default Facebook Recovery Option

If you couldn’t find your account logged in any device or browser. THEN, don’t worry!

Have you tried the default Facebook recovery option?

Click on this link to go to Facebook Recovery Page, Enter your Phone Number or Email Address to find your Facebook account.

You will see your account, just click on that.

Once you enter your Phone Number or Email Address, then you will see various ways to reset your Facebook password. You can tick the option what will be suitable for you to receive code to reset the password.

You can choose whether you want to receive code via SMS or via Email.

Enter the code you received either on SMS or email in the box to verify. Once it verified, you will be able to create a new password for your Facebook account.

Note: If you didn’t receive code, then you must have the same issue I was having. If you have tried many times by clicking to resend confirmation code but didn’t receive any code. It means you have been blocked by using Facebook Phone Verification feature.

Don’t Have Access To Your Email Or Phone Number?

It happens with most people, they create their Facebook account by using their email address or mobile number.

But later in future, they lost the access of their contact details or it changed as time goes.

SO now, your Facebook account has been disabled and you are trying to recover that but you don’t have access to your email address or phone number to receive confirmation code.

If you don’t have access to your Email address, you can click on “No longer have access to these?” as shown in the image below.

Facebook will ask you for your New Contact Detail(email or phone) so they can get you in touch with you and click on Continue.

Ask For Help To Your Friends

If you have set up Trusted Contacts in your Facebook Account, then you can ask for help from them to recover your Facebook account.

1. Visit Facebook.com through a computer, then click on Forgot Account?.
2. You can find your account using your phone number or email address added in your Facebook account.
3. Look at the list of the email address and phone number on the screen, if you don’t have access to any of these. Click on No Longer Access To These?
4. Enter a new email or phone that you know you can access and click Continue.
5. Click Reveal My Trusted Contacts and type the full name of one of your trusted contacts.
6. You’ll see a set of instructions that includes a special link. The link contains a recovery code that only your Trusted Contacts can access.

Security Check Preventing You To Log In?

When my Facebook account was disabled, I tried many ways to recover it.

Enter your email or mobile number and your full name, you need to upload your any government Identity card like Adhaar card, Voter ID, Password etc.

Try Contacting Facebook Directly

If all methods listed above have failed or didn’t work for you. So, the last and final method remaining for you is to contact Facebook directly thought the email: security@facebookmail.com

Send an email to the Facebook team explaining your issue in details and also attach your ID with the email. They might give a chance to recover your Facebook account.

BUT, if you are not using your real name on Facebook, the chances are ZERO for you to recover your Facebook account.

Conclusion

Recovering a disabled or blocked Facebook account is not an easy task.

Facebook has very strong algorithms to detect accounts that are violating their terms. It took seconds of them to disable your account if you found guilty.

AND, recovering those account is a very tough task.

I have tried all the methods to contact them to recover my facebook account. It was very crucial for me because I have all my pages created by the same account and I need to login for managing them.
